East Central MN Here are my jacks, actually on a 21' 5000 bu bin! We have a pulley at the top of the A frame and on the bracket we attach to the bin. The cable runs from the top of the A frame, through the pulley attached to the bin and then over the pulley at the top of the A frame down to the winch. Edited by todd.crow 3/16/2018 23:01

A bin 18 feet tall (6 rings), and 18 feet in diameter, takes an experienced crew of 2 men about 2 hours to erect with a boom truck, or 5 hours with jacks. This does not include site preparation, pit construction or hopper construction and installation, anchoring and sealing the bin, or adding components such as sweep augers or drying floors.

Each DC grain bin jack has it's own 24 volt power supply, hydraulic pump, reservoir, computer and radio. They are all linked to a central computer that controls all aspects of the jacking operation.
